Graves Lobbies to Save Bridge Funding

Maryville, Mo. — U.S. Rep. Sam Graves on Wednesday appeared before members of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to advocate for continued federal funding for so-called BRO bridges.
BRO stands for stands Bridge Replacement Off-System, and the spans funded by the program are usually built over creeks and rivers crossed by county gravel roads in predominantly rural states like Missouri.
