Filing for Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District has not even closed, yet Kay Barnes has gone negative and attacked Sam Graves for the 30th time. She promised us it wouldn’t be this way last May. 

Then: “the belief that a positive approach to life always triumps over negativity,” said Barnes in May of 2007.

Now: Kay Barnes sends out negative attack press releases blaming Sam Graves for high energy prices. Yet, she offers no solution.

The facts? Sam Graves voted to create the wind energy production tax credit and supports a bill that extends it for five more years. Sam Graves has voted to raise fuel efficiency standards for cars, voted to increase American sources of energy, supports streamlining the process for building new refinieries and voted to increase our reliance on ethanol and bio-diesel.

With 30 negative attacks before filing has closed, how many more patently false attacks will Missourians be subjected to this election season from Kay and her henchmen?
