(N. Kansas City) The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Sam Graves in the race for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District.
“Sam Graves has consistently stood up in Congress on behalf of small business and we are proud to endorse him,” said Bill Miller, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President. “We need legislators, like Sam Graves, who are committed to supporting small business, growing our economy, and creating jobs. Sam Graves’ consistent record of lowering taxes and encouraging economic growth are exactly what Missouri and America need right now.”
Graves has amassed an impressive record of standing up to the tax and spenders in Washington, fighting against taxes on small businesses, energy production, married couples and families with children. In 2003, Graves voted to pass the largest tax cut in American history.
“Small businesses account for 7 out of 10 jobs here in America,” said Graves. “We need to make it easier for our small businesses to stay in business and create jobs for our families by keeping taxes low. Every additional dollar that government raises taxes on small businesses is one less dollar that they can spend on hiring new employees. I will continue to stand up for our families and small businesses and fight against the Washington politicians who insist on paying for their out-of-control spending on the backs of hard working Missourians.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation, representing more than 3 million businesses of every size, sector, and region.
